Recently approved by the SFMTA Board, MUNI cash fares will rise by 25 cents at the start of next year, on January 1, 2017. Clipper card fares will stay the same. Fares:
MUNI is also changing the way some fares work; the youth age limit has been extended from 17 to 18. Customers who tag their Clipper card or MUNI Mobile account after 8:30 PM will get free MUNI rides all night long.

Sunday Streets and the annual Excelsior Festival will take place at the same time, at the same location on Sunday, October 16, from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM. There will be several MUNI reroutes throughout Excelsior, around Mission.

The annual Italian Heritage Parade will take place tomorrow, October 9, from 8 AM to 3 PM. The parade will start at Jefferson and Powell, and end at Washington Square. While to parade is going on, MUNI will reroute several lines until the event ends. In addition, due to Fleet Week, there may be more delays, reroutes and overcrowding, especially to the 47 on Bay Street. For a complete list of reroutes to to the Italian Heritage Parade, click here. Ferry tickets are $12.50 per person (children under four (4) ride free), per journey. The trip from Larkspur Ferry Terminal to AT&T Park is about an hour.

The ferry departs from AT&T Park exactly 30 minutes after the last pitch is thrown. For more info, go to www.goldengateferry.org. During Fleet Weekend in SF, MUNI will provide additional service and modify some routes around the Marina and Fisherman's Wharf, where the events primarily take place.
